Why was the Dharma Pages community created? It started small: a handful of people who loved Dharma books, gathering to read and talk. That spark caught fire. Today, Dharma Pages is a multifaceted community of spiritual friends, all committed to one thing — keeping the Dharma modern, alive, and approachable, through Tibetan language study, Tibetan history lectures, and more.

Why the name “Dharma Pages”? Two ideas, one name. “Pages” honors where we started — a book club, turning pages together. But it’s also a bit of wordplay: like a medieval page, our purpose is to serve something greater than ourselves. In this case, the Buddha Dharma.

What makes this website different from others? One word: simplicity. While most modern websites pile on features, pop-ups, and noise, we stripped it back. No clutter competing for your attention — just the Dharma, front and center.

What is this website for? This is home base. Everything Dharma Pages offers — centered on Tibetan Buddhism, Tibetan language, and Tibetan history — lives here.

What is the goal of Dharma Pages? Simple: make the Dharma accessible. Light-hearted. Fresh. Not distant, not intimidating — just real.

What do I get out of joining the Dharma Pages community? A real connection. Step into a community that’s open, warm-hearted, down-to-earth, and shaped by fresh perspectives from authentic practitioners of all kinds of backgrounds. Take Tibetan language classes tailored to where you’re at. Join monthly lectures on Tibetan history. Walk away understanding Tibetan Buddhism more deeply than when you started.

How do I join the community? One click away. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click “Connect with the Pages,” fill out the form — and we’ll reach out by email, tailored to what you’re looking for.

What if I don’t have a Buddhist practice or shared beliefs? Come as you are. Yes, we explore the Dharma mostly through a Tibetan Buddhist lens — but this is not a sectarian space, and it’s not here to shut anyone out. If you’re curious but don’t identify as Buddhist, you’re still welcome here.

What if I practice other forms of Buddhism? Jump in. This community welcomes every Buddhist practitioner — and non-Buddhists too. We all have something to learn from each other. If it feels right to you, it’s right for you.
